Ten perspectives on the repository
Nagra submits the general licence application for the Swiss deep geological repository to the federal government at the end of 2024. The planned repository in Stadel (ZH) will one day house Switzerland's nuclear waste. A construction project that still has around 100 years of development ahead of it and dimensions of a social, political and cultural nature. The questions that arise in the course of this project of the century are correspondingly diverse. ‘500m+’, Nagra's podcast of the century, seeks answers from ten experts from the fields of science, politics and culture. In an interview with Hannes Hug, they explain their own - personal and professional - perspectives on the challenges and opportunities of the deep geological repository.
